Molokai: Spotlight on the “Friendly Isle”

Molokai is one of the least populated Hawaiian islands and has one of the most interesting histories, Molokai is known for being home to the infamous leper colony of  Saint Damien’s called Kalaupapa National Historic Park and also said to be the birthplace of the hula. That makes this island one of the best to experience a Hawaii that feels set back in time. With one small town center and nothing to do after dark; this is the place for the destination couple who wants an authentic Hawaiian experience and to actually get away from it all. Many outdoor activities including; water sports, mule rides, fishing, surfing and hiking along the highest sea cliffs in the world, will fill your days while the breathtaking scenery lends itself to a dramatically beautiful backdrop for a Hawaiian wedding. So, if you are adventurous and desire an authentically Hawaiian experience, than Molokai may be the perfect island for your Hawaii wedding.
