If you are planning on getting married on the Island of Maui, there is no better place than Haiku Mills. This location is one of the most unique and sought after wedding venues (you can see why in the photos above). Located on Maui’s northeastern coast, this venue is two acres of historic ruins and lush tropical gardens. This historic Hawaiian land has seen it all, from the working hands of the decedents of the 1700 missonaries, to King Kamehameha III’s inspiration to start the production of the sugar canes.
By 1986, Haiku Mills was added to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Hawaii. At this point only the walls remained. The owner decided to leave the roof open, and decorate the area to be used as a wedding venue. Haiku Mills is great if you are looking for a venue with an intimate setting.
