Uluhe Fern Curls

Striking, whimsical, and elegant, uluhe fern curls are a staple of my designs and a great addition to your Hawaiian wedding flowers.  The spiral shape of the fern curl is actually a new shoot of the larger uluhe fern plant which is indigenous to Hawaii.  Although the actual fern plant is neon green the fern curls are a rich shade of eggplant- the perfect complement to almost color scheme.

Have your florist to distribute fern curls throughout your bouquet for a modern touch, or place a pair in your centerpieces as an sculptural accent. A small arrangement composed of fern curls and leatherleaf fern is fun and unexpected as is a curl shooting out of a ranunculus boutonniere.  Whether your wedding flowers are tropical or spring the addition of uluhe fern curls will make them truly Hawaiian.
