Absolutely Delightful:
The Upcountry of Maui was the ideal rustic region to complete all hopes for our travels! I especially loved exploring the area of Kula which serves as the regional source of culinary expertise known for its fantastic produce farms and botanical gardens. Next, we hopped over to the charming community of Makawao, situated on the volcanic slopes of Haleakala, which is home to an eclectic group of artists and paniolo (a.k.a. Hawaiian cowboys). Here we enjoyed boutiques and art galleries… as well as a full-scale rodeo competition!! And finally, our last stop, the historic town of Paia, was great for the sea-lovers in us as we were entertained by professional wind and kite surfers before wandering an artsy shopping and dining district! It was incredible how one region could offer such an extensive list of things to see and do!!

Breathtakingly in Love:
Seeking an intimate destination that emphasized the best of Hawaiian culture, we headed for the Eastern coast and found ourselves in Hana, a small town rooted in all that is Hawaiian. Our expectations were high, and they were surpassed! The untouched landscape of the Hana region is indescribable in its beauty…lush with dramatic views of breathtaking waterfalls, lively rain forests, and delightfully secluded oceans, it was all almost overwhelming to observe. Even with all of the natural beauty for us to explore through exciting excursions, we still managed to find time to slip off for a private moment…or two…amongst the tranquil beaches and waters! We returned home on the most fulfilling natural high that only Maui could provide!

Around Every Corner is Luxury:
I can officially say I have experienced luxury like never before! The Southern communities of Maui are sumptuous, romantic, exotic…everything I could ever ask for! From the exquisite and secluded beach of Makena to Kihei, a region of remarkable natural beauty, countless ocean exploration activities, and an exciting and lively town both day and night, EVERYTHING was held to a higher standard here. We stayed in Wailea, a luxurious resort strip that has more signature beaches, golf courses, and restaurants than I could possibly begin to explore in one trip! We left the island feeling like departing royalty!!

Wowed in Maui:
This is where the action is! On the western coast, we found countless premier spots of Maui. The unique shops and eateries of historic Lahaina, the world-class luxury resorts, golf courses, and restaurants of Kapalua, and the breathtaking cliffs towering over crystal clear waters of Ka’anapali, all offered extensive and unique opportunities to go ‘all out’ and get a real taste of Maui Fever!…And did we ever catch the fever! We were SO excited to experience the signature beaches and attractions which make this island such a popular getaway location and our expectations were blown out of the water! I absolutely cannot wait to return some day!!
