Immaculate Lanikai Hike

Trying to stay in shape for the big day? Hawaii has so many fun and exciting activities that will help keep you fit and trim. The islands are famous for their natural beauty and abundance of outdoor activities; be it land, air or water. The “Pillboxes” hike, as it is called by the locals, is on the windward side of Oahu right about Lanikai Beach. This hike got its nickname from the two pillboxes that were built by the US military during the early WWII and they sit perched on the highest parts of Ka’iwa Ridge. This hike is relatively easy but will give you a good workout. What can beat the cool blowing trade winds and the beautiful panoramic views of Lanikai and Kailua beaches? You’ll forget you’re even working out!  Along this hike, you’ll also enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mokulua Islands (or the Mokes as the locals call them) as well as the jurassic Ko’olau Mountains. For your cool down, head down to one of the World’s most beautiful beaches, Lanikai,  and take a dip in the crystal clear waters!
