Non-Traditional Wedding Dresses {Ask Morgan}

 I am excited to answer this question posted by Kelly on our Ask Morgan page::

“What colors are appropriate for a 38 yr old,second time around bride? I have a 15 yr old…no bright white. Thanks!”

This is a common question for brides who are having a second wedding and are at such a different point in their lives than the first time around. So, why not celebrate the fact that you know more about yourself, more about fashion and more about what you are comfortable in?

Be bold! Don’t be afraid to embrace the day and do something more in line with who you are, where you are in life and what you really love. Look for colors and styles that are flattering, unique, sophisticated and most importantly that make your heart flutter.

Love sparkles, beading and being the belle of the ball? Don’t be afraid to shine.

Colored wedding gowns are also not only on-trend for the moment in the bridal world, but let more of your personality shine.

Whatever you choose for your wedding day, throw away the rule book and make sure that you feel beautiful and that your dress reflects everything you know and love about yourself.

Thank you Kelly for your question & if you have questions about your wedding day; just ask! I would love to hear from you.

    I am having a simple ceremony in Deadwood, SD…..in the snow. I am looking for ideas for nontraditional wedding attire for myself. Would love to incorporate plaid into it. We are older and this is not out first wedding. Thank you.
