We absolutely adore Serena & Matthew’s wedding at Haiku Mill on Maui! Photographed beautifully by Ana Kim, and seen on Style Me Pretty; it is full of vintage and DIY touches that really add to the lovely atmosphere. This creative couple, who both work in media and design in California, made their own camera to produce 3-D images of their guests! Other unique touches we love? Family and friends from around the world folded and sent the couple 1000 paper cranes and the bride wore grey.
From Serena: “We created elaborate invite boxes which contained layers of vellum with song lyrics- our poetry- and lock and key graphics created by Matthew as well as a cd of our music with cover art also by Matthew, and a colllage of our photos and a front and back photo of us taken by a good friend. We also included instructions for folding orgami cranes, an explanation of the meaning of sending us 1000 cranes, and return vellum envelopes. We wanted to create a unique experience for everyone and we hoped they would be a keepsake, especially for those who wouldn’t be able to make the trip to Maui.”
Congrats again to Serena & Matthew on your stunning wedding!
