Traditionally it’s been standard to give a favor at your wedding and send a thank you in the mail afterwards, but we’re loving the modern trend of incorporating a thank you into your reception table settings. It’s a sweet and gracious way to thank your guests for being there to celebrate with you. It’s not a substitute for dropping a note into the mail later, but it is a wonderful little touch of extra appreciation!
What do you think of this cute trend? Leave us a note in the comments below!

sammy - i want to do this at my wedding and i was wondering where could you purchase something like this or where would you be able to make them?
ModernWeddingsHI - Aloha Samantha! Thank you so much for your comment and we totally agree with you! As we said in the post – “It’s not a substitute for dropping a note into the mail later, but it is a wonderful little touch of extra appreciation!” – we like to think of thank you place settings as something a little extra :-D
Samantha - From an outside view this looks great but as a guest I would feel that having spent on the gift, hotel accommodation, the clothes ana a baby sitter I would feel the lease the bride and groom could do would be to send a thank you card.
This may be for some but for me call me old fashioned ….I like the personal touch.
Great piece
