Volcano Winery: Big Island Activities

It dosen’t get much better than wine tasting in paradise and taking a trip out to a vineyard is a perfect activity for bridal parties, rehearsal dinners, and on your honeymoon! Volcano Winery’s tasty concoctions are inspired by island fire and include their signature  Honey Wine is made from  macadamia nut honey. Honeybees pollinate the blossoms on the island’s macadamia nut trees, resulting in pure Hawaiian honey which is used to make the wine. It’s a sweet delight for locals, visitors, and anyone who wants a sip of Hawaiian honey from the Big Island! Other wines you won’t find anywhere else in the world include Hawaiian Guava Wine, Infusion, Volcano Blush, and Symphony Mele.

Our favorite: Infusion. Infusion is a bright, crisp, tea wine blended from 100% local ingredients. Macadamia nut honey from South Kona is infused with black tea from the rain forest of Volcano to create a vibrant taste sensation. We love it chilled on a sunny afternoon!
